Cutout Animation
Cutout animation is a way of producing animation; it is a form of 2D animation. This is because they use flat props, for example backgrounds made from paper, card, fabric and also using photographs. This form of animations was used for one of the world’s earliest known feature films which were cut out animations (made in Argentina by Quirino Cristiani), it was the worlds earliest surviving animated feature.

Zetrope
what is zoetrope?
Zoetrope is a number of images on a strip of paper spinning on a wheel. its an animation. zetrope is the tradional type of animation.
definition of persistence of vision
persistance of vision is when the vision is retained in the eye for a short period of time creating an illusion.
who invented zoetrope?

Because it was one of the first times they were able to make moving images.

Erwin Blumenfeild
This image is called the eye to, it has two reading of one perdon. This image is surreal, because the eye is posistioned so it looks like the person and the siluet are both lookingstright ahead. The shape of the lips on the siluet looks real because the persons lips are in the same place and so is the nose. The image is a contast against the white pace . this attracts our attention to the two faces. The man in the image looks upset. The image only has half a face so the siluet complets the other half of the face.
How i'm going to copy this image.
i'm going to use a black background.
i'm going to have an image taken of my self.
then finally photoshop it, to create a similar image to Erwin Blumfeild.

glossary of terms
Video formats:
Video format is electronically capturing, recording, processing, storing, transmitting and reconstructing a sequence of still images representing scenes in motion.
Streaming:
Streaming" multimedia allows the user to begin viewing video clips stored on our server, without first downloading the entire file. After a short period of stopping and buffering, the file will begin to stream - or play - in real time.
File compression:
An algorithm or scheme used to compress or shrink a file. A file in compressed form must first be uncompressed or transformed before it can be read, displayed, or used. Files available through anonymous FTP are often stored in compressed form and must be treated as binary files.
Aspect ratio 4:3 6:9:
there are two common TV screen shapes that people will recognise squarish shape of a conventional TV and today’s HDTV widescreen. The term aspect ratio is used to describe TV screen shape. Small TV’s have a 4:3 aspect ratio and LCD HD TV’s have a 16:9 ratio.
Frame rates:
Frame rates are a number of frames and images of a movie are displayed every second.
